Schornsteinemissionen, Stoffeintrag bei Unfällen, Abfalldeponien, Stoffeintrag in Böden von Industrieanlagen, größere Leckagen aus Abwasserkanälen und anderen Rohrleitungen. Stoffeinträge aus Punktquellen können sowohl zu lokal als auch zu verhältnismäßig gleichmäßig kontaminierten Standorten führen.
