sample taken from a single stratum of the defined population (e.g. area or volume of soil to be sampled). Note: Sample can be taken randomly within the stratum (stratified random sample) or at predefined regularly arranged sampling points (stratified regular sample). de Probe, entnommen aus einer einzelnen Schicht der festgelegten Grundgesamtheit (z. B. Fläche oder Volumen des zu beprobenden Bodens). Note: Die Probe darf nach dem Zufallsprinzip aus einer Schicht (geschichtete Zufallsprobe) oder an vorgegebenen, regelmäßig angeordneten Probenahmepunkten (geschichtete regelmäßige Probe) entnommen werden. Das Ziel der geschichteten Probenahme ist die Gewinnung einer repräsentativeren Probe, als dies mit der Gewinnung von Zufallsproben erfolgen kann. Der Begriff Schicht wird hier im statistischen Sinn verwendet und sollte nicht als pedologische oder geologische Schicht missverstanden werden.. Ex:LKW- oder Lastenkahnaufbau.
fr échantillon prélevé dans une seule strate de la population définie (par exemple, surface ou volume du sol à échantillonner). Note: L’échantillon peut être prélevé de manière aléatoire dans la strate (échantillon aléatoire stratifié) ou au niveau de points d’échantillonnage prédéfinis agencés de façon régulière (échantillon régulier stratifié). Le prélèvement d'échantillons stratifiés a pour objectif d'obtenir un échantillon plus représentatif que celui qui pourrait être obtenu par échantillonnage aléatoire. Le terme « strate » est utilisé ici dans un sens statistique. Il convient de ne pas le confondre avec les strates au sens où l'entendent géologues ou pédologues.
